Kettle Kick Off

The Salvation Army held its Christmas Kettle Kick-Off Celebration at Farmers Market in Los Angeles. The Salvation Army rang in the holidays together with city officials, celebrities and friends of Farmers Market for an evening of Christmas carols, holiday entertainment and other merry-making! If you haven't had a chance to volunteer at the kettle, now is your chance! Come on– even Phil Jackson is doing it!

Corps Kids

These are some of the kids that I am privileged to work with on a weekly basis at The Salvation Army Santa Monica Corps. These are extremely intelligent kids that come from extremely rough backgrounds which stimulates very interesting conversations about Biblical truths. Most of the kids and teenagers from our neighborhood come from foster homes or single-parent families. More kid profiles to come.
